Call me old-fashioned, but I still do a lot of things that are more of the traditional ways. For example I like to buy a newspaper in the morning plus catch up on new events. I also like to have a paper calendar plus write down things that I’m doing or locations that I’m going, instead of keeping a digital reminder on my phone, and my sister enjoys to make fun of me because she is entirely digital; She will do her reading on her phone by downloading apps plus she will also do her entire calendar on her phone. I am the complete opposite plus like having papers plus writing things down. I know it’s more effective plus it helps me to stay on top of things that need to be done; Whereas having things set digitally may not labor or you may forget much more easily. A prime example of this happened when my sister called me last month crying because she forgot her heating plus cooling appointment with her local heating plus cooling specialist plus she wasn’t home. She said because she wasn’t dwelling plus they charged her $50 no show up fee. I asked her if she added the heating plus cooling appointment to her calendar plus she said she did it digitally however got a current phone last monthand everything on her calendar did not move over to her current phone. I told her that she should call the local heating plus cooling supplier to see if they could refund the $50 if she rescheduled with the heating plus cooling specialist. I told her that has why I like to have an actual calendar in my dwelling so I can visually see it separate from having to open an app.
