While sitting on the couch with my family this evening, I noticed that our AC was much louder than normal.
- I thought that the TV was turned down low so I grabbed the remote, and turned up the volume.
Not much later, it seemed that the AC was getting louder. I went to the thermostat and turned it to the off setting. Without doubt, the AC switched to the off setting. I went back to the living room and didn’t think of it again until we were getting ready for bed. When I laid down, I noticed that the room was very warm. I thought back to earlier that night when I noticed that the AC was being really loud. The AC was so loud that I couldn’t hear the movie we were watching over the AC. That had never happened before. It did not occur to me that there was anything wrong with my AC. I went back out to the living room to adjust the thermostat and quickly realized that something wasn’t right. Without hesitation, I called my neighbor who happens to be an HVAC technician. My neighbor was able to inform me that my AC was being loud for a reason. It was trying to tell me that there was something wrong with it. My neighbor was able to fit me in the next day to provide the services I needed to repair my HVAC system. I am so happy that I am not having to sit around in a hot house waiting for the AC company to come to my house to make the repairs.
