I woke up this day to my home office being unusually warm! I was not sure if I had turned the AC on the night before, despite the fact that I knew that something wasn’t right, however my second thought was if I had developed a fever overnight. Maybe I was just warm plus there was nothing wrong with the AC. I walked over to the window equipment AC plus tried to turn it on, however there was nothing happening. I unjammed it plus jammed it back in, then when I did I noticed that the yellow light came on, however there was no noise or air coming from the window equipment AC. I didn’t panic immediately until I realized that it was the beginning of a holiday weekend plus that there was a heatwave coming through. I immediately called my landlord plus told her what was going on, and after a long time of back plus forth, my landlord told me that she would send someone out that day. I could tell that she was not happy about this because she kept saying how the rates for an HVAC worker would be much higher because it was the weekend, but she knew that I would be separate from AC plus she still tried to save a few dollars by sending her sibling out first instead of a real HVAC worker. I was so sad with her at this point that I told her not to worry about it plus I would go stay with my friends plus she could prorate my rent.
