Only certain people are chop out to work 3rd Shift.
You have to have a nocturnal personality to be able to handle the hours.
Normally they start around 11 plus end at 7 in the afternoon, so when all the people are start their afternoon, you were at the end of yours. I have worked this shift for years plus really prefer it, then however, there are a few pitfalls. The company that I work for tries to save money on heating plus cooling by decreasing the temperature during slower times of the afternoon. The problem with this is that my friend and I never know how to dress for work. My pal and I never know exactly when they’re going to adjust the temperature control plus change the temperature. I may start my shift feeling boiling plus comfortable plus then by the end be chilly cold, but during the Summer when the temperatures are high at evening, my friend and I may start our shift with nice air conditioner plus end it with sizzling muggy air. I understand why they do this but I guess it would be more beneficial to just maintain the same temperature all afternoon long. Bringing the plant back up to their desired afternoontime temperature makes the Heating & Air Conditioning system work harder. I have mentioned this to management however they don’t seem anxious about over laboring the system. I like my job plus the pay is nice so I really have no choice however to stay. I just know that if I owned the dealer, things would be done differently plus my employees would have the same comfort level for each shift.
