You have to have a nocturnal personality to be able to handle the hours.
Normally they start around 11 plus end at 7 in the morning, so when everyone are start their afternoon, you were at the end of yours. I have worked this shift for years plus really enjoy it, and however, there are a few drawbacks. The corporation that I labor for tries to save money on heating plus cooling by changing the temperature while in slower times of the afternoon. The complication with this is that we never know how to dress for work. My great friend and I never know exactly when they’re going to adjust the temperature control plus change the temperature. I may start my shift feeling sizzling plus comfortable plus then by the end be chilly cold, however during the Summer when the temperatures are high at night, we may start our shift with nice a/c plus end it with warm muggy air. I understand why they do this but I believe it would be more beneficial to just maintain the same temperature all afternoon long. Bringing the plant back up to their desired afternoontime temperature makes the Heating plus Air Conditioning system labor harder. I have mentioned this to management but they do not seem sad about over laboring the system. I like my task plus the pay is great so I really have no choice but to stay. I just know that if I owned the business, things would be done differently plus my employees would have the same comfort level for each shift.
