My cousin called the other afternoon & was honestly frustrated, she had just returned from a trip with her friends & she wanted to tell me about it, however she said that the locale they had visited was absolutely gorgeous, but they had gone to a ski resort about 3 hours away & she said the mountain views or spectacular.
She’s not one to ski although she said that the ski lodge had multiple activities that she could participate in during the afternoon while her friends were on the slopes! As she was telling me all this, I couldn’t understand why she was so frustrated, then she told me about the drive home. Apparently, her friend drives a honestly old automobile that has an Heating & A/C system that does not work. She said she wished she would have known that ahead of time because she would have gave to drive her own car, however instead she spent three hours there & three hours back home shivering under a blanket in the backseat. The front events of the automobile seemed to work great but the fan would only operate on low. So none of the heat made it to the backseat of the car. Her friend who was driving was comfortable & kept apologizing for the cold. She said she never honestly thought about it because she was usually the only one in the automobile & she knew she needed to have the system serviced but couldn’t afford it just now. This was absolutely a learning experience for my cousin & from now on she will regularly ask before going on a trip with someone about their Heating & A/C system in their car. Traveling many hours, while being uncomfortable, just seems to ruin the entire experience, and your Heating & A/C system in your automobile is just as pressing as the one you have in your home. Nowadays we spend far too much time traveling to not invest currency in that also.
