My parents are getting older and I constantly worry about them.
So much so, that it takes away from my time with my own family.
Many times, my spouse will want to plan a family afternoon with the teenagers an I insist on taking my parents with us. This limits the arenas that my friend and I can go due to mobility and the fact that they can not tolerate serious hot and cold temperatures. The trips need to include arenas that have quality Heating and A/C systems running all the time. Anyway, my friend and I came to the conclusion that it would be best to move my parents into our apartment so that I would not constantly worry about them. My pal and I have the extra room and figured my friend and I could just downsize their stuff and make it work. One thing that my friend and I had to make plans for was the addition of an Heating and A/C system. My pal and I have heat, of course, for the winter, however, my friend and I do not have any form of air conditioning. My spouse and I never felt the need for it because my friend and I don’t have actually long summers and the hot and cold temperatures are actually only actually moderate for a week or two. The complication was that my parents didn’t even like the hot and cold temperatures to be over 69 degrees and my friend and I would need some sort of cooling in their space. My pal and I looked into installing a permanent unit like a mini split ductless unit, but the cost was actually high. My pal and I opted instead to purchase a resting portable unit that could be moved actually from one space to another. This will actually be a perfect solution for them and us. My pal and I won’t have the expense of installing a complete system and they will be cool and comfortable.
