There are about a dozen new neighborhoods being built down by the interstate and that is an area where there isn’t very good cell phone service.
I’ve been to the area a couple of different times to fix or repair heating and cooling problems.
I have a lot of trouble getting my work done in that area, because I can’t use my phone. Sometimes I like to use my phone when I am troubleshooting. I can look up information online and take pictures. I can make phone calls to get another opinion if I am puzzled. When there isn’t any 5G in the area, it makes my work a little bit difficult. I went to help a customer in one of the new neighborhoods on Saturday and I got lost. The customer was supposed to be in the front of the cul-de-sac, but I didn’t see any houses that looked like they were lived in. I drove around 4-15 minutes and I didn’t have any signal on my phone to contact the customer. I had to drive out of the neighborhood and down the street to the gas station before I had service. Once I had service, I contacted the customer and asked for better directions. I was in the wrong neighborhood and that was my problem right from the beginning. I’m looking forward to the county or the neighborhood adding some cell towers to the region so it will be easier to take care of problems in that part of town. That probably won’t happen for another year or two.
