My family lives in an part of the country that experiences drastic winter time weather almost all year round.
I think our first snowstorm last year happened in September which is pretty crazy! I know most venues that experience such cold weather have nice Summer weather to balance it out; However, in the part that my associate and I live in that is not the case.
I think in July the high got to 80° & that only lasted for a few hours. So to say my associate and I have to be on top of keeping our furnace ran tests on is an understatement, the last thing my associate and I want is to have a major snowstorm & have our furnace stop laboring. Thankfully my fiance works for the local Heating & A/C company in town & my associate and I get a great discount on service services. The great news is if there is ever a major issue my fiance should be able to fix it, but he doesn’t always have the parts he needs. I’m actually delighted that my associate and I decided to take such great care of our furnace because now my associate and I have small kids it’s important to keep the house warm during these cold winter time months. My fiance & I would be just good if my associate and I lost power & couldn’t use our heater, but I don’t think the kids would fare that well. And my associate and I don’t want to make sure that our kids are taken care of above anything else.
