My wifey and I went out for lunch and a movie last weekend.
The lunch was nice however the movie theater was actually hot.
My fantastic friend and I noticed it as soon as my friend and I walked in however it was an early showing so I hopped that it was just because they had only now turned on the a/c. But that turned out not to be the case. A few minutes into the commercials, a worker came and opened the emergency exit and turned a fan on. The fan wasn’t too loud but, once the movie got started, my friend and I could see headlights from passing cars shining through the door. The open door didn’t seem to be helping much either. It just got hotter and hotter in the theater without the cooling system running at all. I wanted to walk out and leave although I didn’t want my wifey to know I was unusual or anything, however he was nice and obtained me a slushie however he, too, noticed how uncomfortable it was. Others around us were fanning themselves with whatever they had on hand. About fifteen minutes in, I saw my wifey looking out the open door instead of at the screen. I too, longed for being in the cool outdoors so I whispered and asked if he wanted to leave. He said he did so my friend and I got out of there and went to an arcade instead. At least there, there the cooling system was laboring well and my friend and I ended up having a lot of fun. I won a lot of tokens. Maybe it was a fantastic thing the cooling system in the movie theater was down or else my friend and I wouldn’t have had so much fun.
