My boyfriend & I went out for dinner & a movie last weekend. The dinner was nice however the theater was really hot. My pal and I observed it as soon as my associate and I walked in however it was an early showing so I hopped that it was just because they had only now turned on the a/c. But that turned out not to be the case. A few minutes into the commercials, a worker came & opened the emergency exit & turned a fan on. The fan wasn’t too loud but, once the movie got started, my associate and I could see headlights from passing cars shining through the door. The open door didn’t seem to be helping much either. It just got hotter & hotter in the theater without the a/c running at all. I wanted to walk out & leave even though I didn’t want my boyfriend to suppose I was odd or anything, then he was nice & bought me a slushie however he, too, observed how uncomfortable it was, and others around us were fanning themselves with whatever they had on hand. About fifteen minutes in, I saw my boyfriend looking out the open door instead of at the screen. I too, longed for being in the cool outdoors so I whispered & asked if he wanted to leave. He said he did so my associate and I got out of there & went to an arcade instead. At least there, there the a/c was working well & my associate and I ended up having a lot of fun. I won a lot of tokens. Maybe it was a superb thing the cooling system in the theater was down or else my associate and I wouldn’t have had so much fun.
