I went to my sister’s dwelling last month for a bit of a family reunion. She lives in the South & it was so tepid & humid. My pal and I spent a lot of time outdoors Bar-B-Quing & just hanging out together in nature. She live in the woods & is particularly self sustaining. Andrea & her hubby use solar power & a gas generator for all their power needs. They also have a window a/c installed into the wall of their log chalet & it works fantastic in keeping their chalet nice a cool. The whole family took turns hanging out in her small wood chalet & cooling down in front of the a/c before going back outside to participate in the festivities. The a/c was so nice & I was thankful on Monday when I was asked to stay inside & boil potatoes for the picnic that afternoon. Andrea & her hubby are also looking into adding onto their chalet however they are not sure that their window a/c can handle the extra room & they don’t know if their solar panels can handle a stronger a/c. They are going to have an HVAC professional come out & asses the situation before they proceed with the add-on. I so hope that it works out, then with extra space, the whole family could stay inside, with the a/c, next time my associate and I all gathering. That would be so much nicer. I really enjoy my sister’s backwoods site even though I like to stay cool & comfortable too.
