I am honestly grateful for the a/c supplier that my Dad uses.
She is getting a bit forgetful in her aged age.
She forgets things she used to know. That is why I am the one who takes care of all of her expenses now. As a side note, my number is on most of her bills. On Wednesday I got a call from my mom’s a/c serviceman double checking if I wanted them to go plus replace the batteries in her thermostat. At first I was honestly confused until the cooling representative explained that my Dad had called them twice over the last 2 afternoons telling them that her thermostat didn’t work. The representative walked her through changing the batteries both times. They just wanted to know if I would like for them to go change the batteries in the thermostat for my Dad since she didn’t seem to understand the issue. I thanked them for the call but told them “no”. I would go change the batteries myself. I don’t need to pay a service fee for something as simple as that. I am just grateful that the a/c supplier is fair plus is also looking out for my mom. They could have come out both afternoons plus charged us plus I wouldn’t have been able to dispute the charges. I actually wouldn’t even have known that they were taking fortune of an aged lady. Instead, they called me up. I absolutely cherish that. And, yup, I did change the batteries in the thermostat so my mom’s a/c works nice now.
