I am particularly grateful for the a/c company that my mom uses.
She is getting a bit forgetful in her old age.
She forgets things she used to know. That is why I am the one who takes care of all of her expenses now. As a side note, my number is on most of her bills. On Tuesday I got a call from my mom’s a/c worker double checking if I wanted them to go plus replace the batteries in her temperature control. At first I was particularly confused until the cooling representative explained that my mom had called them twice over the last 2 days telling them that her temperature control didn’t work. The representative walked her through changing the batteries both times. They just wanted to know if I would like for them to go change the batteries in the temperature control for my mom since she didn’t seem to understand the issue. I thanked them for the call but told them “no”. I would go change the batteries myself. I don’t need to pay a service fee for something as simple as that. I am just grateful that the a/c company is honorableplus is also looking out for my mom. They could have come out both days plus charged us plus I wouldn’t have been able to dispute the charges. I legitimately wouldn’t even have known that they were taking advantage of an old lady. Instead, they called me up. I particularly cherish that. And, yeah, I did change the batteries in the temperature control so my mom’s cooling system works great now.
