I swear that things go wrong during the worst times.
I have had the same vehicle for over ten years now, and I love it.
I bought it when it was about three years old, and it has truly been a great little car for me. It does great on gas mileage, and it has not had any problems until now. Last month started the whole downhill process. It started with the transmission. It was having trouble, so I found a transmission at a junkyard for only $100 and put it in my car. It is doing great now, but three days ago, I was driving to work when I noticed that the heat in my car was not working. I have never had any trouble with my heater. It has always done a great job keeping me warm. I actually have not had any HVAC problems with my vehicle until now. I do not know anything about electric work or the HVAC systems in cars, so I do not even know where to start. I called a few mechanics in my area, and they all gave me their prices. I cannot believe how expensive it will be to get my HVAC system fixed. I am debating on just selling the car and buying a new one. It will cost more money in the end, but at least I will have a new vehicle. My dad is a pretty decent backyard mechanic, and he said that he would be willing to take a look at it for me even though HVAC work is his least favorite. If my dad cannot figure out how to fix it then I will probably just get a new car.
