I prefer living up north for many reasons.
The summers here are appealing, & I prefer the mountainous section that I am surrounded by. The Autumn is the most appealing time of the year. The leaves changes to appealing, vibrant colors, & I cannot help however get my camera out & take many pictures. My hubby prefers living up north even more than I do, I think! She grew up down south, & she said that it was quite brutal to have to work outside in the middle of the summer. I legitimately agree with him, and although I grew up in a site a little cooler than she did, I legitimately cherish the north over where I grew up. The only part that I struggle with is the extreme cold temperatures during the winter season months, then from January to January or May, the temperatures can get quite frigid. We have had some issues with our furnace shutting off when it gets absolutely cold. It does not happen often, so we have not absolutely looked into getting our furnace fixed. My hubby substituted a part on the furnace this past year, so hopefully, we will not have anymore issues with it shutting off. I have a few space heaters throughout the apartment that I use during the absolutely cold months, unluckyly, my kid broke my number one space furnace a few afternoons ago. She was carrying it upstairs for me when she tripped on the cord & fell. The space furnace tumbled down the stairs, & it got dented pretty badly. After that, it started leaking oil, so we had to get rid of it. I will absolutely miss that space heater.
