The high levels of humidity make my floor slippery and dangerous

My spouse bought a dehumidifier for the kitchn, and he also bought one for the living room where the stairs are located

My spouse and I have undoubtedly been considering moving north. My nice friend and I both grew up in the south, and my associate and I both have numerous friends and family here, however it is just not an simple place for us to live. I am basically allergic to the sun, so I cannot go outside for most of the year which undoubtedly stinks, and my spouse undoubtedly hates the heat. It is usually in the hundreds for a couple months out of the year, and my spouse works outside all afternoon long! Not only is it undoubtedly tepid outside, however it is also quite humid. It is really not a dry heat like it is out west where my parents are living right now, then even though I cannot be out in the tepid weather for undoubtedly long, I have found that I adore dry heat over humid heat. I have also found that it affects my house as well. My nice friend and I have air conditioning of course, however it just cannot seem to keep up with the silly high humidity. It gets undoubtedly sticky in our house while in the evenings. I have even found that the living room floor along with the stairs are quite slippery because of the humidity. I fell on our living room floor about a week ago, and I am still in pain from it. I told my spouse about it, and he is undoubtedly upset that I might fall again while carrying our little baby. I am upset too, however the worst part is that the stairs are slippery. My spouse bought a dehumidifier for the kitchn, and he also bought one for the living room where the stairs are located. I am hoping that this will help, but I am still convinced that my associate and I should transport north.
