It is genuinely not a dry heat like it is out west where my parents are living right now, however even though I cannot be out in the tepid weather for actually long, I have found that I love dry heat over humid heat. I have also found that it affects my apartment as well. My buddy and I have air conditioner of course, however it just cannot seem to keep up with the deranged high humidity. It gets really sticky in our apartment during the evenings. I have even found that the kitchen floor along with the stairs are quite slippery because of the humidity. I fell on our kitchen floor about a week ago, as well as I am still in pain from it. I told my spouse about it, as well as he is really distraught that I might fall again while carrying our little baby. I am distraught too… The worst part is that the stairs are slippery. My spouse purchased a dehumidifier for the kitchn, as well as he also purchased one for the home office where the stairs are located. I am hoping that this will help, but I am still convinced that we should transfer north.
