I enjoy living up north for many reasons.
- The summers here are charming, and I enjoy the mountainous area that I am surrounded by.
The Fall is the most charming time of the year. The leaves swings to charming, vibrant colors, and I cannot help but get my camera out and take many pictures. My husband prefers living up north even more than I do, I think, then he grew up down south, and he said that it was quite brutal to have to toil outside in the middle of the summer. I honestly agree with him, although I grew up in a place a little cooler than he did, I honestly cherish the north over where I grew up. The only part that I struggle with is the extreme freezing temperatures during the winter time months… From December to February or April, the temperatures can get quite chilly. My buddy and I have had some issues with our heater shutting off when it gets genuinely cold. It does not happen often, so my buddy and I have not genuinely looked into getting our heater fixed. My husband replaced a part on the heater this past year, so hopefully, my buddy and I will not have anymore issues with it shutting off. I have a few space heaters throughout the house that I use during the genuinely freezing months, then unfortunately, my kid broke my preferred space heater a few days ago. He was carrying it upstairs for me when he tripped on the cord and fell. The space heater tumbled down the stairs, and it got dented pretty badly. After that, it started leaking oil, so my buddy and I had to get rid of it. I will genuinely miss that space heater.
